Professional Experience
Patent Law
- Extensive and many years as legal counsel and representation for clients in the fields of semiconductor technology, medical technology, regenerative energy, sanitation technology, casting machine technology, automotive technology, control technology and optics.
- Long and vast experience in drafting and preparing patent applications and accompanying related patent granting procedures and, when necessary, patent opposition proceedings at the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office and national patent offices abroad.
- Conducting patent litigation proceedings, including infringement and nullity proceedings in and out of court, in Germany and abroad, when necessary together with colleagues from our international network of attorneys.
- Preparing opinions on the validity or infringement of patent rights. Conducting and evaluation of freedom-to-operate searches and preparing of corresponding opinions.
Trademark Law
- Many years as legal counsel and representation for clients in various economic areas, including strategic development and support of national and international trademark portfolios.
- Handling registration procedures, including opposition proceedings at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the WIPO and national trade mark offices.
- Conducting trade mark litigation proceedings in and out of court, including infringement and cancellation proceedings, in Germany and abroad, when necessary together with colleagues from our international network of attorneys.
- Conducting and evaluating trade mark searches, preparing of opinions on the validity or infringement of trade mark rights.
Design Law
- Many years of providing legal counsel and representation for clients from different economic areas.
- Handling registration procedures, including cancellation proceedings at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the WIPO and the responsible national offices.
- Conducting design litigation proceedings in and out of court, including infringement proceedings, in Germany and abroad, when necessary together with colleagues from our international network of attorneys.
- Preparing of opinions in conjunction with design rights or design infringements.
